This series of paintings is titled "The Shovel" and represents all of the single emotions that are associated with a tragedy that occurred when I was a jungle doctor.

These paintings are created by pigmenting resin and painting it on to wood panels that I make.  I embed wire in the resin to create crisp dimensional lines, and etch and fill the resin to create complex patterns.  These works have a high gloss finish and have a lot of depth due to the layered resin, making them visually striking.

Note that "Out of stock" means that the work has sold.  I leave some sold works on the site for reference if you are interested in a commissioned work.
